Ice Age is one of the world's most successful animated franchises.  The Ice Age Live! A Mammoth Adventure comes at a booming time for the franchise with the debut of the first Ice Age television holiday special, Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas, and the fourth installment of the film series, Ice Age: Continental Drift, that arrived in theaters in 3D July 2012.  The film features a returning cast voiced by Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Seann William Scott, and Queen Latifah along with new characters voiced by Jennifer Lopez, Wanda Sykes, Keke Palmer, among others. The film follows Manny, Diego and Sid as they embark on another great adventure. Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they explore a new world.
